We meet the holistic needs of boys growing up in challenging environments

The Zinhle Foundation is a community-based non-profit organisation founded in 2021 by Kamogelo Shabalala in Lotus Gardens, Pretoria West, South Africa. Born out of a deep concern for the challenges facing the boy child, the foundation exists to love, guide, and protect boys aged 9 to 13 who are growing up in environments marked by fatherlessness, limited mentorship, and low literacy levels. We believe that every boy carries potential, purpose, and promise, and with the right support, guidance, and opportunities, that potential can be unlocked.

Our work goes beyond academics to shape character, build confidence, and instil positive values that empower boys to make healthy choices and become responsible young men. By investing in the whole child and working closely with families and the community, we are actively changing narratives and raising a generation of leaders who will positively influence their homes, communities, and the nation.
